A FORUM ON CORRUPTION WAS HELDIN SHYMKENT
In the ANTICOR Center of Shymkent, the forum «Formation of an anti-corruption culture in society: communication with the public» was held. At the International Anti-corruption Day event, the fight against this social phenomenon was discussed in detail. , Shymkent city mayor Murat Aitenov stressed the importance of the forum and reported on the work done in this direction
- In order to realize the "Hearing state" concept, the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of instructions on the development of new state standards in the direction of "Forming a new model of public administration","Building a fair state" and "Involving citizens in the process of state administration".
We must fight this dangerous phenomenon together. In order to create an anti – corruption culture in the city, there is a project office "Shymkent-adaldyk alany", projects "Open akimat", "Front office". Shymkent city mayor's office carried out work on the transfer of public services to an electronic format. To achieve high-quality results, it is necessary to implement the principle of zero tolerance to corruption among the population, - said the city mayor.
The forum was also attended by Askhat Zhumagali, the head of Department of the Agency for anti-corruption in Shymkent city , members of the Information and Education Staff - writer Markhabat Baigut, public figure Shalatai Myrzakhmetov, the analyst Saken Mazhinbekov and others.
