SHYMKENT ATHLETES ARE PREPARING FOR THE OLYMPIC GAMES
Training sessions of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Greco-Roman struggle are held on the base of «Akbulak 1» in the city of Almaty. Wrestlers from Shymkent were also invited to attend. The team includes Alimkhan Syzdykov, Elmar Ukali, Shamil Batyrov and Adilhan Satayev.
Also in the national freestyle wrestling team, Shymkent athletes Gabit Tolepbai and Nurzhen Seitjan are trained.
Alimhan Syzdykov, who recently became the champion of Kazakhstan in the Greco-Roman heavyweight wrestling, now diligently began preparations for the Olympic Games.
It should be noted that the team of Shymkent in Greco-Roman wrestling won 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals at the national championship. And, in freestyle wrestling competitions, the wrestlers won one silver and one bronze medal.
Besides, the winners of the national Boxing championship started training with the national team at the Akbulak base. In General, athletes from Shymkent have won 4 tickets to the Olympic games to this day.
