REPAIR WORKS OF MULTI-FIELD HOSPITAL NO. 2 ARE BEING COMPLETED
In accordance with the order of Shymkent city mayor Murat Aitenov, major repairs are being carried out at the multi-field hospital No. 2 in Shymkent.

The hospital, founded in 1975, had not been renovated before. For many years, it was on the balance of the international Kazakh-Turkish University named after H. A.Yassawi. In 2018, by the decree of Shymkent city mayor, it was transferred to the health Department. The facility is currently undergoing major repairs.
After reviewing the repair work in detail, Maulen Zarlykovich instructed the contractor and technical Manager to complete the work on time and improve the quality of work performed.
This facility consists of "main building", "maternity ward "and "polyclinic". 50 thousand people are registered in the clinic. About 700 people are examined daily by doctors. The Maternity Unit used to provide second-level perinatal care. After major repairs, it will be transferred to the level of the maternity ward, where perinatal care is provided at level 3.
During the current renovation of the hospital, heavy medical equipment is installed, in particular computer tomographs, modern x-ray, angiographic equipment and other medical devices. In the main building of the institution there is a 400-bed hospital (in case of a pandemic), equipped with beds in accordance with the standards of infectious diseases. There will also be an expanded intensive care unit, a stroke centre and a neurosurgical unit.
