Preparations for Shymkent’s spring greening are well under way. In addition, the city has all the opportunities to develop a new industry and increase the export of flowers. Due to the increased level of competition in this area, the volume of incoming taxes will also increase. Thus, Shymkent city grows its own flowers.
In accordance with the order of Shymkent city mayor Murat Aitenov, annual and perennial flower seedlings were planted in greenhouses in order to improve and green the territory of the metropolis.
To achieve this goal, a Memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the city's mayor's office and representatives of the ASAR AGRO cooperative, Zhasyl-Zher LLP and Ltd Turmys LLP. In this regard, an analysis was carried out and it was revealed that 1.6 million flowers are required for greening the Shymkent city. At present, 1 million flower seeds have been planted in the greenhouse of the Asar microdistrict, which is 60%.
Specialists of LTD Turmys LLP sowed 150 thousand seeds of lemon-colored marigolds, 150 thousand orange-colored marigolds,200 thousand Salvia, 200 thousand Katara, 150 thousand celosia and 150 thousand Basil seeds. Sown flower seeds, due to the temperature in the greenhouse, will germinate in just 10 days. These seeds were brought from Germany.
It should be noted that the greenhouse employs 100 people who receive their salary on time. This is evidence of the implementation of the task set out in the President's Address to be more independent in solving local problems.
