A SOLEMN EVENT DEDICATED TO THE "DAY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" WAS HELD
Today, a solemn event dedicated to the "Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held in the Shymkent city Kazakh academic drama theater named after Zh.Shanin.
At the festive event, a video about the boundless steppe, beautiful nature of the country, sights and buildings opened by the head of State in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Shymkent, the history of Shymkent becoming the third metropolis was shown.
Shymkent city mayor Murat Aitenov congratulated on the holiday and noted the importance of the holiday.
– I heartily congratulate you on December 1 – Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan! It has become a truly national holiday for all Kazakhstanis. This significant holiday is of great importance. 29 years ago, on December 1, 1991, the country elected its first president for the first time on the basis of national elections. Thus, by introducing the institution of the presidency, the Kazakh government has entered a new era in its history. Having declared independence, it became an independent country. Since then, under the leadership of the first president of the country, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, in a short time we have passed a centuries-old path and become a fundamental country with its own place in the world.

The economy has strengthened, and the potential has increased. The current development of our city is a vivid evidence of the vision of the Elbasy, " said the mayor.
The event continued with a theatrical performance "Uly Dala Amanaty", combining the struggle of the ancestors for independence with the achievements of the present and a bright future.
Artists of the city Kazakh academic drama theater named after Zh.Shanin, soloists of the Shymkent city Opera and Ballet theater, the dance ensemble "Kazyna" and singers of the concert organization "Shymkent city house of culture" also performed at the event.
