3 PROJECTS WORTH 0.99 BILLION TENGE WERE LAUNCHED IN THE SEZ "ONTUSTIK"
The total value of investment portfolio of the special economic zone "Ontustik" in Shymkent is 97.8 billion tenge. To date, the investments volume is 30.7 billion tenge, 18 projects have been implemented with the creation of 1518 jobs.
The volume of products produced by enterprises participating in the SEZ "Ontustik" from 2010 to the third quarter of 2020 amounted to 71.8 billion tenge. More than half of these products (48.8 billion tenge) were exported to the countries of near and far abroad.
Since the beginning of the work of SEZ "Ontustik", tax deductions to the budget amounted to 5.2 billion tenge. In 2020, 3 projects were launched for an investment of 0.99 billion tenge and 93 jobs were created.
In Shymkent, on the territory of 426 hectares, there are industrial zones "Ontustik" and "Tassay". 93 projects totaling 87.7 billion tenge are implemented in the industrial zone "Ontustik". In 2020, it is planned to implement 4 projects worth 18.6 billion tenge, with the creation of about 400 new jobs.
The territory of the industrial zone "Tassay" is 89 hectares. In 2020, it is planned to implement 5 projects, with the creation of 263 new jobs. To date, 3 projects worth 1.9 billion tenge have been implemented.
