ARBORETUM HAS BEEN REPLENISHED WITH 10 PHEASANTS
In Shymkent, 10 pheasants were brought to the dendrological Park named after A. Askarov and released on the Park territory.
These birds were brought from the Syr Darya Turkestan interregional nature Park for increasing the number of fauna in the Park, creating a natural environment and maintaining a balance.
The arboretum is a small woodland area located in the very center of the city. It has also been granted the status of a specially protected natural area. Since this is a small forest, it should have its own life, birds and wild animals.
It should be noted that wild swans, geese and ducks have been brought to the artificial lake in the park of 3 hectares. There are several types of fish in the depths. In addition, the Park has 84 pheasants, 50 squirrels, 23 rabbits, 10 peacocks, 5 silk and Bentham chickens, 4 Guinea fowls, 3 red deer, 4 fallow deer, 1 dwarf sheep. These birds and animals move freely in the Park, in special shelters and sheds. They are fully equipped with feed.
