BUS STOPS ARE UPDATED AND PAVEMENTS ARE BUILT IN SHYMKENT
Bus stops are repaired and pavements are built in Shymkent. This year, 260 bus stops are being installed in the city as part of the employment Roadmap programme. 145 old bus stops that were installed in remote localities of the city were dismantled.
534.4 million tenge was allocated from the national budget for these works. In particular, 70 stops are being installed in Abay district, 70 in Al-Farabi district, 50 in Enbekshi district and 70 in Karatau district. It is planned to update 400 bus stops by 2021.
There are 912 km of pavements along city roads. In 2020, 319 km of pavements were built and put into operation.
