A NUMBER OF ISSUES WERE RESOLVED AT THE REGULAR SEVENTIETH SESSION OF THE CITY MASLIKHAT
In accordance with the resolution of the Chief state sanitary doctor of Shymkent city, on the extension of strict restrictive measures and quarantine, the regular seventieth session of Shymkent city maslikhat was held online. Three issues were considered on the meeting's agenda.
Today's session for the first time organized live in accordance with the Address of the Head of state K.Tokayev to the people in September. This broadcast, through the official website of the city maslikhat, can be watched by all city residents.
On the first issue of the agenda, amendments were made to the decision of the Shymkent city maslikhat dated December 26, 2018 "On approval of the Shymkent city development Program for 2018-2020". In particular, 22 indicators of the economic direction were revised in connection with the quarantine measures taken. Among them, 11 amendments were made in the economic direction, 8 in the direction of social development and 3 in the infrastructure direction.
The next issue was the alterations to the decision of the Shymkent city maslikhat dated November 26, 2018 on the acceptance of state obligations within the framework of public-private partnership. In addition, a government responsibility was made in the amount of 2 billion 433 million tenge for the construction and commissioning of the "School of arts" near the administrative and business center of Shymkent. However, within the framework of a private partnership, a proposal was made to reduce the operating expenses of Euroremontservice LLP by 67.6 million tenge this year due to late completion of work.
In addition, the issue of approval of the Public Council of Shymkent city was considered. 10 candidates applied for the competition of the city's Public Council. The working group of the Public Council elected 6 people by voting for the candidate.
The issues on the agenda of the meeting were first discussed in detail at the meeting of the joint standing committees and the online meeting of the Nur Otan party faction, and the deputies made a unanimous decision. At the end of the meeting, the city mayor Murat Aitenov noted the need to increase the activity of members of the Public Council. He also thanked the deputies for supporting the work carried out by the mayor's office during the quarantine period.
