95 PERCENT OF SHYMKENT RESIDENTS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH HIGH-QUALITY ELECTRICITY
At present, 93% of the population of Shymkent is provided with high-quality electricity.
By the end of the year, this indicator will be increased to 95%. Currently, 14 objects are under construction to provide residents with high-quality electricity.
One of them is the substation "Bozaryk". To provide high-quality electricity to the Northern part of the city, construction of the 220/110/10 kV Bozaryk substation with a capacity of 160 MW was started in 2016.
According to the Shymkent city energy and housing and communal services of directorate, the construction of the power plant will be completed and put into operation by the end of this year. As a result, about 250 thousand users of 10 localities - Asar-2, Turan, Yntymak-2, Soltustyk sayazhay, Batys, Bozaryk, Kaynarbulak, Shymkent city, Dostyk, Nursat will be provided with high-quality electricity.
Also, by the end of the year, the construction of 9 objects (12 localities) will be completed, and about 23.5 thousand people will be provided with high-quality electricity.
