SHYMKENT CITY MAYOR MET WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF "ROYAL GROUP" HOLDING
Shymkent mayor Murat Aitenov met with the technical Director of the distribution company "Royal Group LLC" Khan Umar.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation and attracting investment to Shymkent.
Murat Aitenov thanked the company for its interest in the city's tourism projects and spoke in detail about its capabilities.
- "The complex of historical and cultural attractions of the old city" of Shymkent is included in the list of TOP 50 tourist destinations. In other words, it is expected that there will be a large influx of tourists to our city. Shymkent, with a population of more than one million people, is one of the most economically developed cities in Kazakhstan with ready-made infrastructure, rich natural and labor resources. This is the oldest city in Kazakhstan with a 2200-year history, located in the heart of the Great Silk Road. Today, the transport corridor "Western Europe - Western China" passes through the city, "-said Murat Duysenbekuly.
He also noted that the city has a great potential to become a new center for attracting investment, technology and intellectual resources in Central Asia. Also during the meeting, the city mayor considering the long-term experience of managing the hotel business of the company «Royal Group», as a foreign investor, called upon them to contribute to the development of the tourist industry of Shymkent.
It is worth noting that the Royal Group is a holding company of 60 large and medium-sized companies located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was founded in the late 90's. The head office is located in Abu Dhabi. It specializes in trade, finance, real estate, manufacturing, construction, information technology, education, services, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and robotics. It built the first 4-star hotel in Shymkent. About $ 10 million has been invested in its construction.
