SHYMKENT: 30 TEACHERS BECAME THE WINNERS OF THE TEACHERS ' OLYMPIAD
The Teachers' Olympiad has ended in Shymkent. This year, from October 28 to November 4, 1,185 teachers who completed complex tasks in the field of education took part in the competition.
Teachers of Kazakh language and literature, Russian language and literature, informatics and natural history from schools teaching in Kazakh, Russian, English and Uzbek took part in the Olympiad.
The first stage of the competition was held in an online format (testing) using the Online Test Pad and ZOOM (video surveillance) platforms. And 444 teachers who have passed the second stage will send video tutorials on their subject to the methodological center.
The evaluation of video lessons took into account the novelty of teachers ' lesson planning, the structure and content of short-term plans, effective teaching methods and the use of assessment strategies.
According to the Olympiad's results, 30 teachers who showed the best video lessons were recognized as winners, and their teaching experience was distributed throughout the city. A Fund of video lessons has been created for each subject, which is offered to teachers of the city as a methodological aid for distance learning.
