SHYMKENT: 8 PROJECTS ARE UNDER WAY FOR THE CREATION OF PUBLIC SPACES
In May of this year, the Department of urban studies was established in Shymkent on the basis of JSC "SEC" SHYMKENT".
Currently, the Department of Urban Studies has identified socially significant sites that require development and change in conducting a comprehensive analysis and study of the city. 8 projects are under way in this direction. In particular, the reconstruction of the park in 12 microdistricts, construction of a pedestrian public space on T. Ryskulov Street, in the area of the shopping center "Sever" ( from Zh. Shayakhmetov street to Zholan batyr street), improvement of the embankment of the river Karasu on «Otbasy Alley», along Jangeldin Street, renovation of the square «Az Nauryz» in the microdistrict of Zhailau, a sketchy project was developed (a square between Kazimukkan St. and Mahambet St. ) on the territory of the Tamerland Highway.

In addition, the improvement of the bridge space along Madeli Kozha street and the improvement of the gastronomic cluster along Baidibek bi street (4 microdistrict) will be carried out. In addition, the issue of creating pedestrian infrastructure along Baidibek Bi Avenue, from the "Hippodrome" stop to the "Kainar" stop and activating the Abai Park will be resolved.
