SHYMKENT: DECISION ON GRANTING LAND PLOTS TO 38 ENTREPRENEURS
Another large – scale project in Shymkent is the project "1000 retail outlets". The project was launched in May of this year. According to the project, entrepreneurs on the city territory will be provided on a competitive basis with land plots for the installation of kiosks for the provision of trade and services.
To date, the commission has made a decision on granting land plots to 38 entrepreneurs. In general, the scale of the project" 1000 retail outlets " can be compared with an industrial one. For example, if entrepreneurs are given 1,000 outlets, it can be said that the city will receive at least 3 billion tenge of investment and at least 2,000 permanent jobs will be created.
Land plots will be provided to entrepreneurs on favorable terms. In particular, the entrepreneur pays 21,141 tenge per square meter per year. The volume of retail outlets is within 6-40 square meters, that is, on average, the price of retail outlets is 400-500 thousand tenge per year (35-40 thousand tenge per month). The term of use of the land plot is 10 years. The main condition for an entrepreneur is that the object must be built of light construction and the type of business must correspond to the business plan.
Land plots submitted for the competition will be published on the official website of JSC "Social and entrepreneurial Corporation" Shymkent" (www.openspk.kz) on a regular basis (approximately 1 time a month). Entrepreneurs can apply to the front office «Governments for entrepreneurs and investors «Shymkent Invest».
