SHYMKENT: IT WAS INSTRUCTED TO CONVERT 100% OF GOVERNMENT SERVICES INTO ELECTRONIC FORMAT
As a result of the increasing level of automation of government services in Shymkent, direct contacts between civil servants and citizens have been reduced.
Today, Shymkent mayor's office offers 160 types of services: 132 electronic, 28 paper. In the past year, 91 electronic and 90 paper services were provided.
According to Rashid Mynbayev, Deputy head of the Shymkent city mayor's administration, 160 public services were analyzed. In accordance with the order of city mayor, by the end of this year, the task has been set to convert 28 types of government services provided in paper form into electronic format, and relevant work is underway.
Also, according to the interactive map of open budgets, the total amount of institutions of Shymkent city was published, the budget is 1 trillion 28.5 billion tenge (81%). In order to popularize the Call-center 1424 of the Anti-corruption Agency and the project «Shymkent - adaldyk alany» specially prepared sketches are mounted on 27 billboards of streets and are placed on LED-screens (up to 300 times a day).
