SHYMKENT: CORRUPTION OFFENCES DECREASED BY 50 PER CENT
On the basis of the Anti-corruption Strategy for 2015-2025, a regional action plan for 2018-2020 has been approved and is being implemented by decision of the Shymkent city mayor's office
According to Rashid Mynbayev, Deputy chief Shymkent city mayor's administration, the algorithm for implementing the Institute of resignation and responsibility of managers for corruption offenses committed by employees of the Shymkent city mayor's office has been approved.
For 10 months of 2019, 12 people committed corruption offenses, and for 10 months of 2020 - 5 people. This is 58% less than last year.
It should be noted that within the framework of the pilot project "Open Space", the Shymkent city mayor's office, 4 district mayor's office, 5 departments, 137 schools, 11 clinics and 8 colleges have started working in an open format.
