Today, Zhanat Taziyeva, Head of Education Directorate of Shymkent City, participated in a briefing at the Information and Communication Centre on the status of education in remote, duty classes in Shymkent in connection with the quarantine in the country.
At the press conference, the Head of the Directorate referred to the progress of distance learning in quarantine mode.
- In all city schools, «Bilim Iand - Onlinemektep.org" distance learning is organized on the internet platform. In addition, they work on the information system of electronic journals "Kundelik.kz", introduced by the Ministry of Education and Science ". And in preschool organizations, at the request of parents, the reception of children in duty groups was organized. The number of children does not exceed 15. In total, today 18,971 children are brought up in 2,711 duty groups, " Zh.Tazhieva said.
According to Zhanat Arysbekovna, in the conditions of distance education in the city, 80,780 (36.3%) out of 222,050 pupils have identified a shortage of computers. 42,907 of them are children of family who need of social assistance. In this regard, 35,798 children from 20,150 families who need social assistance in the first place through the temporary provision of computers in educational organizations are provided with computers. In the future, 44,982 pupils will be provided at the expense of purchased computer devices. 7,109 of them for children from low-income families, and 37,873 will be distributed to children from families in need of a computer.
