Border guards found an illegal underground highway for pumping fuel across the border

In the course of carrying out tasks to protect the State border, Kazakh border guards, together with their Kyrgyz colleagues, discovered two plastic hoses laid underground on the border territory of the Zhambyl region in the direction of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border. One of the hoses contained a clear liquid that smelled like gasoline.

According to preliminary data, the find may be a well-disguised underground highway for illegal transfer of fuel across the border.

The interacting authorities have been informed about this fact. Investigations are currently underway.
