PRESS RELEASE to the draft order of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On approval of the Rules for the provision of public services by the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan”

PRESS RELEASE to the draft order of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On approval of the Rules for the provision of public services by the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan”

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 25, 2019 amended and supplemented the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 15, 2013 “On public services”.

In this regard, the need arose to develop and approve a subordinate regulatory legal act that defines the procedure for the provision of public services by the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Border Guard Service), which abolishes the regulation for the provision of public services and the standard as a separate regulatory legal act.

Based on the above, the Border Guard Service has developed a draft order of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Approving the Rules for the Provision of Public Services by the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, which also invalidates the following orders:

Order of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 22, 2015 No. 26 “On approval of standards of public services provided by the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (registered in the Register of State Registration of Normative Legal Acts dated May 23, 2015 No. 11146).

Order of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 28, 2015 No. 42 “On approval of the regulations for public services provided by the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (registered in the Register of State Registration of Normative Legal Acts dated June 30, 2015 No. 11504).

The adoption of the project will not entail financial costs or negative legal consequences.

There is no need to bring normative legal acts in line with the project being developed.
