Border Guards Discovered a Cache of Sturgeon Fish

During the joint activities of the Department of the Border Service in the Mangistau region and the police department of the Tupkaragan region, three citizens were detained in one of the private houses of the Fort - Shevchenko settlement, who were found to have 42 sturgeon fish with a total weight of 158 kg.

On this fact, a pre-trial investigation has begun under clause 2, 4, 5, part 2 of article 339 "Illegal treatment of rare and endangered species, as well as prohibited plant or animal species, their parts or derivatives" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
