Awareness-raising meeting with business representatives on the inadmissibility of exceeding the trade markup by more than 15%

September 14 in Ridder Department of Trade and Consumer Protection of East Kazakhstan region held a meeting to explain the issues of trade with entrepreneurs. The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of Ridder City Maslikhat, representatives of local executive bodies, and a representative of National Chamber of Entrepreneurs «Atameken».

During the event the participants were informed about the main objectives of the Department in the sphere of trade, modernization of markets, road map «Made in Kazakhstan» and the advantages of Smart QR connection.

In addition, an explanatory work on realization of socially important food products without exceeding the trade mark-up by more than 15% was carried out with the heads of trade establishments.

Based on the results of the explanation, business representatives were recommended to consider the possibility of reducing the current prices for SIFP, taking into account the trade markup within the framework of the current legislation.

Currently, products are sold in the city at the following prices - sunflower oil - 620 tg, milk 2.5% - 350 tg, eggs - 460, potatoes - 160 tg.
