The Department of Trade and Consumer Protection in Zhambyl region is working to combat the facts of illegal price increases for socially important food products in the region.

In particular, since the beginning of the year, 26 inspections have been carried out, according to their results, 15 entrepreneurs have been issued warnings, they have eliminated the detected violations, 2 fines have been imposed, 3 are in work. No violations were detected in 9 inspections.

Including large retail chains of «Vkusnaya korzinka» LLP for exceeding the markup on a chicken egg (five kara) by 16.9% were warned in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses, after which they eliminated violations.

In addition, Vkusnaya korzinka» LLP was fined under the Code of Administrative Offenses for the powder «Ushasti Nyan», displayed in the windows, the cost of which exceeds the price issued by the price label.

Also checked small retail chains supermarket «DADA», (SP OMINA) minimarket, store «Halyk», supermarket «Jubilee», (SP ZHANG), grocery store, grocery store «Barchinoy», SP «Lesnyak», SP «Bailykk-2014», SP «Yadgarov» grocery store, «Sanabar», grocery store «Magnyt», store «U dydy Viti», store «Bereket». All entrepreneurs under the Code of Administrative Offenses received warnings and eliminated violations.

The grocery store «MER» in the village of B. Momyshuly, Zhualynsky district, was fined under the Code of Administrative Offenses for exceeding the allowance to the price of onions by 18.7%.

The department is working to stabilize prices for food products in the region.
