New rules for the organization of trade markets, an innovation in the information system and a trade allowance for Socially significant goods were discussed in the Trade Committee

On the second of June this year, a meeting was held with the participation of the Ministry of Trade and Integration and market managers to explain the new Rules for trading markets. This meeting was held on the basis of the Department of Trade and Consumer Protection in Astana through the Zoom conference platform.

There are 27 trade markets in the capital.

The new «Rules for the organization of trade markets, requirements for the maintenance of the territory, equipment and equipment of the trade market» have a number of novelties that were presented to entrepreneurs.

The main innovation is the introduction of responsibility to the owner (owner) of the trading market (previously, the administrator, who was an individual and an employee, was responsible for the activities of the market). Now the owner (owner) of the market will be directly responsible for the vital activity, equipment and infrastructure development of the market.

The second innovation is the introduction of an information system of the authorized body, which will work by means of a matrix barcode QR-code. This information system will serve as a single integration platform of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the market administration, tenants (sellers) and consumers, where the areas of responsibility and responsibilities of all participants of this platform are distributed. Anyone can log into the information system via QR-code. During the seminar-meeting, a constructive conversation took place. Entrepreneurs asked questions about the information system, the lack of Internet for its implementation and other questions about the qualitative implementation and use of the information system.

One of the main issues raised was the size of the 15% trade allowance for socially important food products. Unfortunately, not all managers are aware of the administrative responsibility for exceeding the trade allowance.

The meeting was fruitful, all the questions of interest were answered.

For their part, the officials of the Ministry expressed their readiness to continue the discussion and provide comprehensive answers to all questions that arise in a working manner.
