A visit to shopping facilities was held in the city of Pavlodar

On February 16, 2023, Akim of the city of Pavlodar E.B. Imanzaipov made a joint visit with representatives of the Department of Trade, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development, JSC «SEC Pavlodar» and the public council of the city to the retail facilities and warehouse of the stabilization fund of the SEC «Pavlodar». The departure was carried out following the results of an earlier meeting of the mayor of the city with retail chains. The largest retail chains of the city are covered - "«Small», «Greenwich», «Inmart», as well as a store near the house «Арзандау».

As part of the visit to the stable fund warehouse, the availability and quality of stored products were checked. The need to increase the supply of products to retail outlets to contain prices was noted.  

During the visit to the shopping facilities, the prices of socially significant goods, the assortment and the conformity of the quality of the supplied products were inspected. As part of the previously reached agreements with retail chains on restraining prices for CSP, a decrease in the cost of several items was recorded: bread, egg of the 1st category, buckwheat groats, sunflower oil, potatoes, rice, carrots, onions, cabbage (due to the supply of products from the stabilization fund, deliveries within the framework of concluded memoranda, as well as the reduction of the trade premium). Retail facilities were reminded of the need to adhere to the established threshold prices for socially significant food products. Also, retail chains were recommended to improve the quality of the goods sold and allocate special labels for goods with a minimum margin.

At the same time, the availability of vegetables supplied from the regional stabilization fund was monitored as part of the inventory of socially significant vegetables. Recall, in pursuance of the Prime Minister's instructions, commodity interventions from the reserves of social and entrepreneurial corporations have been launched this month. To date, the Pavlodar region supplies onions and cabbage at a reduced price to the partner stores of JSC «SEC Pavlodar» (the selling price for the end consumer of onions is 158 tenge/kg, cabbage is 102 tenge/kg). For potatoes and carrots, the supply is carried out within the framework of a previously concluded memorandum with local agricultural enterprises. Delivery is carried out to agricultural fairs and trade facilities. The price of potatoes and carrots at fairs and farmers' market is 95 tenge/kg. At the same time, the holiday is made to retail outlets at a price of 100 tenge/kg, taking into account the delivery cost on the counter – 120 tenge/kg.

By the way, the Department of Trade monitors the availability of vegetables from the stable fund on a daily basis. This work will continue until the end of the interventions.
