120 manufacturers, wholesalers and large enterprises of East Kazakhstan region received memos

The Department of Trade of the East Kazakhstan region, together with the akimats of cities and districts of the region, carried out preventive and explanatory work with manufacturers and wholesale suppliers selling socially significant food products in the region. Employees of state agencies reminded producers, wholesale suppliers and enterprises selling food products that according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of trade activities", the permissible size of the marginal trade allowance should be no more than fifteen percent of the selling price of the manufacturer or the purchase price of the wholesale supplier. Employees of state agencies were handed memos stating that in case of violation of this requirement, the subject of internal trade is liable in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

More than 120 manufacturers, wholesalers and large enterprises selling socially significant food products in the region were familiarized with the memos. The memos were also published in local newspapers and on the official websites of the departments of entrepreneurship and akimats of cities and districts of East Kazakhstan region.

This work is aimed at stabilizing the prices of socially significant food products and will be carried out on an ongoing basis.
