A new farmers' market has opened its doors in Pavlodar region

On December 24, 2022, in the city of Pavlodar, with the participation of Akim of the Pavlodar region Baikhanov Asain Kuandykovich, the grand opening of the Jailau farmer's market took place. The project was implemented on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tokayev Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, in order to develop the cooperation chain "From field to counter".

The new farmers' market meets all the requirements of a modern shopping facility, the press service of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports. Trade is carried out both in the covered market and in specially equipped street trading places. Citizens can get to the market by tram routes (4 routes). In addition, negotiations are underway to connect bus routes to the existing 42. At the same time, every Saturday from 09.00 to 13.00, travel to the market and back on the tram routes for market visitors is free.

From the first day of work, a wide range of food products was presented on the shelves of the market: beef, lamb, horse meat, pork, turkey, goose and chicken, flour, dairy products, bakery products, semi-finished products, fish, sausages, confectionery, vegetable oils, eggs, cereals, vegetables, fruits and more. It is noteworthy that all products are sold at prices 10-15% lower than market prices due to the fact that only producers, peasants and farms are represented on the farmers' market. It is the absence of intermediaries and distributors that the new market compares favorably with other markets represented in the city.

The market has gained popularity among buyers from the first day. About 5 thousand people took part in the opening of the farmers' market. It should be noted that buyers who make a purchase on the territory of the farmers' market become participants in the lottery. Geese and honey are raffled off weekly, and a carcass of a ram is raffled off monthly.

The market will continue its work 6 days a week from 9.00 to 20.00, the day off is Monday.
