On December 22, 2022, a meeting of government agencies with entrepreneurs of the capital was held in Astana.

The meeting was opened by Akim of Astana Zh.Kassymbek. The meeting was attended by the First Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Shakkaliev. He spoke about the work done and the prospects of the department for regulating trade and restraining prices for socially important food products. The novel of the meeting was the presentation of A. Shakkalieva about the commodity distribution system, which will make a significant contribution to the food security of both the capital and the whole republic. Questions were raised about new approaches to the construction of trade objects, regulation and traceability of pricing chains.

Representatives of state agencies spoke about the control and supervisory activities carried out within the framework of price restraint in the capital and the fight against unscrupulous businesses profiting from social food products.

The meeting was concise and substantive. In turn, entrepreneurs asked questions. The head of the capital immediately raised representatives of authorized bodies to receive a competent response. He invited a number of entrepreneurs to a personal reception to further solve urgent problems.

An open and business-like conversation took place with the heads of retail chains, manufacturers of NWT, market leaders.

The results were summed up, where the mayor of the city asked entrepreneurs on the eve of the new year and upcoming holidays to take pricing very seriously and not forget about social responsibility.
