In order to study the problematic issues arising during the sale of socially significant food products, the Department of Trade, together with the staff of the district akimats of the city and public figures, carried out comprehensive work to clarify the legislation in the field of trade, including compliance with the procedure for selling goods by shops at home with a legally permissible trade allowance for socially significant food products.
In the course of work on the coverage of stores at home, it was revealed that the trade allowance was exceeded in 26 stores, and according to the results, the requirements of the legislation were explained to entrepreneurs.
In addition, entrepreneurs were notified of responsibility for exceeding the trade allowance for socially significant food products by more than fifteen percent of the manufacturer's selling price or the wholesale supplier's purchase price and that measures will be taken in case of violations in accordance with Article 204-4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is also reported that for exceeding the trade mark-up by a subject of internal trade for the first time entails a warning, and for repeated violation entails a fine in the amount of 10 to 300 MCI.
For the most part, entrepreneurs are sympathetic to these requirements, comply with the established norms and are only concerned that wholesale prices for socially important food products are constantly rising.
