In Pavlodar region in November of this year, 6 entrepreneurs were brought to administrative responsibility for non-compliance with the trade allowance for the SSFP (socially significant food products)

In Pavlodar region, prices for socially significant food products (hereinafter referred to as SSFP) are monitored on an ongoing basis. As part of the monitoring, employees of the Department of Trade and the local executive body carry out explanatory work in the city's retail facilities about the need to comply with a 15% trade allowance for the SSFP. “Reminders” are handed out with a list of SIFP approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 1, 2010 No. 145, as well as with information on administrative responsibility in case of violation of the trade markup established by the Law.

At the same time, some retail facilities do not always comply with the law. Thus, in November of this year, 13 official appeals from citizens were received on the existing risks of non-compliance with the trade allowance. As part of open inspections, in 6 cases, trade entities were held liable under Article 204-4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In one case, the fact of violation was not confirmed, on 7 appeals the verification continues.

As a result of the inspections carried out, trade entities reduced prices within the 15% allowable trade markup for SSFP.
