Digital transformation in trade

The issues of digital transformation are becoming increasingly relevant and the need to regulate trading activities, including the development of electronic commerce. Expansion of the ecosystem of the authorized body represented by the Ministry of Trade and Integration (hereinafter - the Ministry), as well as the consolidation of producers and services with customers through a single platform, their regulation, as well as the collection of useful information in the blockchain is an important priority today.

 

The Department of Trade of Astana (hereinafter - Department) is directly involved in the discussion of issues related to the creation of electronic platforms in the format of business and government, implemented by the Ministry.

Employees of the Department are constantly working to improve their "digital level".

So, on November 23, 2022, participation in the 9th International Forum "IDC Government Innovation Forum" with the theme "Quantum state - going beyond digital transformation" was taken.

The main topics of discussion were the acceleration of digital transformation through cooperation and integration of the public and private sectors, the optimization of government IT processes and services using artificial intelligence, changes in the legislative framework with a focus on the development of IT technologies, and so on. Also, the General Director of Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan, Mr. Zhao Xu, presented the Development Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a Digital Hub.

 

This event ended with a panel discussion "Prospects for the development of the IT market in Kazakhstan" with the participation of public and private structures with the participation of international experts and deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Participation in such events serves to improve the legal and digital literacy of the Department's employees.
