The Department of Trade of Almaty continues preventive raids to prevent overstatement of prices for NWPT products

In order to stabilize and regulate prices for socially significant goods, employees of the Department and the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investments of Almaty city carried out control and preventive measures to prevent an increase in prices for socially significant food products, as a result of which, a number of subjects were brought to administrative responsibility and administrative protocols were drawn up against them.

In the course of explanatory work, information was brought to the responsible persons of retail facilities that, according to Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of Trade Activities", the subject of internal trade for socially significant food sets the size of the maximum trade allowance and in case of excess, the subject is liable according to Article 204-4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The head of the Department, Gennady Daniyarov, noted that - "The Department, together with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment, is working to curb prices for socially significant manufactured goods, including preventive measures to prevent excess of the trade allowance."

In addition, the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of Trade activities" were explained to the subjects of retail facilities, and memos with information on administrative responsibility were also handed over in case they overestimated the marginal cost of these products.
