More than 200 thousand tons of vegetables were harvested in the Abai region

Agrarians of the Abai region sum up the results of the harvest. Potatoes - 189 thousand tons, onions - 3.5 thousand tons, cabbage - 20.3 thousand tons, carrots - 18.4 thousand tons were harvested in the region. The harvested crop of vegetables is laid in vegetable storages. This will allow preserving and selling vegetables in the Abai and East Kazakhstan regions at a stable price throughout the year, the press service of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan sauda_komiteti reports.

The company is engaged in cattle breeding, production, sale, processing and storage of vegetables.  On an ongoing basis, he works with JSC "SEC "Ertis" on working capital.  Such interaction makes it possible to provide the population with socially significant food products at a stable price.

The head of the agricultural firm "Prirechnoye" Mukhit Tumabaev: "Every year the company grows potatoes up to 9,000 tons, carrots, cabbage, onions and beets up to 2,000 tons. Thus, in the period from November 1 this year to May 2023, it is planned to deliver 7,062 thousand tons of vegetables for sale in pavilions and retail outlets of partners of JSC SEC Ertis to stabilize prices in the East Kazakhstan region and the Abai region.
