The Department of Entrepreneurship and Investments of Almaty together with the Department of Trade of Almaty organized an expanded fair

The Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development of Almaty together with the Department of Trade of Almaty city of the Committee of Trade of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Department) organized an expanded fair of agricultural producers of the Almaty region, which took place in Almaty on October 8-9 at Shevchenko St. from Kunaev St. to Pushkin St. (opposite the Museum of Archeology of the RSE "Gylym Ortadasy").

This fair was attended by peasant and farm enterprises of the city of Konaev in 9 districts of the Almaty region.

Agricultural producers of Almaty region presented more than 50 types of products, including meat products – 40 tons, fruit and vegetable products -160 tons, fish products – 13 tons, dairy products – 15 tons, 92 tons of other products.

Such fairs help agricultural producers to sell their products directly to consumers without intermediaries, thereby stabilizing prices for socially important food products.

In addition, employees of the Department explained to the fair participants the requirements of Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of Trade Activities" on preventing excess of the trade allowance for socially significant food products.
