The Department of Trade of Almaty continues explanatory meetings, including the prevention of the size of the trade allowance for socially significant food products

Employees of the Department of Trade of Almaty, MTI RK, together with the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development of Almaty, as well as with members of the Party Control Commission of the Almaty branch of the Amanat party, regularly conduct price analysis and explanatory work on the maximum allowable trade allowance for socially significant food products.

During the explanatory work, the owners of retail facilities were informed of the List of socially significant goods, which includes 19 types of products approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 1, 2010 No. 145, as well as the threshold values of retail prices for socially significant food products for 2022 approved by the Akim of Almaty on April 5, 2022 No. 2/120 D.

In addition, the requirements of Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of trade activities" were clarified to prevent the excess of the trade allowance for socially significant food products by more than 15% of the selling price of the manufacturer or the purchase price of the wholesale supplier.

Also, "Memos" were handed over with information about administrative responsibility in case they overestimated the marginal cost of these products.
