Explanatory work is being carried out in the markets of Almaty to curb the pricing of socially significant food products.

The Department of the Committee of Trade of the city of Almaty MTIK RK together with the district akimats of the city of Almaty conducted explanatory work in the markets of the city to curb the growth of prices for socially significant food products.

One of the main tasks of the explanatory work, according to Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of trade activities", is to prevent the excess of the trade premium on NWT by more than 15% of the selling price of the manufacturer or the purchase price of the wholesale supplier.

At the same time, the employees of the district akimats of Almaty noted that in the event of an increase in the trade allowance for NWPT by more than 15%, liability is provided in accordance with Article 204-4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Following the results of the explanatory work, memos were handed over to the sellers of socially significant food products as information.
