Marginal prices have been introduced in Kostanay and Mangistau regions

On April 14, 2022, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted a comprehensive plan "Program for increasing incomes of the population
until 2025".

It is planned that the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan will lead to an average annual growth rate of real incomes of the population at the level of
4-5% and the creation of more than 2 million jobs.

The Ministry of Trade and Integration is taking measures to ensure the physical accessibility of goods to the population at affordable prices. Fair pricing, in turn, will have a positive impact on the incomes of the population.

Thus, one of the measures of the Comprehensive Plan is the introduction of marginal prices and is aimed at protecting the purchasing power of the population's income.

To date, the maximum allowable retail prices are valid on the territory of 2 regions:

1) in Kostanay region - for chicken meat in the amount of 943 tenge per kilogram for 30 calendar days;

2) in Mangystau region - for cabbage in the amount of 255.5 tenge per kilogram, butter - in the amount of 3744.5 tenge per kilogram and eggs - in the amount of 416 tenge per dozen for 90 calendar days.

Agreements are also concluded between large producers and retail chains to reduce and maintain prices for socially important food products (sunflower oil, sugar, buckwheat, egg, etc.).

In total, according to the akimats, 16,072 agreements (memoranda) were concluded, agreements were concluded with 1,788 producers of socially significant food products and with 14,284 retail facilities.

Also, one of the systemic measures that ensure an increase in the level of income is an increase in the volume of products produced due to state support for export supplies.

Financing of export-oriented projects of the manufacturing industry is carried out at the expense of the allocated refundable funds in the amount of 220 billion tenge through JSC "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" and JSC "Entrepreneurship Development Fund "Damu".

In just 5 months of 2022, 52 projects worth 49.2 billion tenge were supported.
