As part of the implementation of the 12th step of the Nation’s Plan “100 concrete steps”, an independent position of ethics commissioner has been introduced in all central state bodies and 17 akim offices of the regions, the cities Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent.
At the same time, in 764 state bodies, the functions of an ethics commissioner are assigned to employees holding senior positions, as well as gaining recognition and respect. Ethics Commissioners held 8166 preventive and awareness-raising events for 6 months of 2019, across the country, including 5102 lectures and seminars, 479 videos and radio materials, 710 publications in the media and 2269 on Internet resources. 1887 visits were carried out. 7512 civil servants and citizens requested the consultations.
Of the 577 written complaints about violations of official ethics, 166 complaints were confirmed. 46,274 civil servants were questioned anonymously by Ethics commissioners to monitor compliance with official ethics and the moral and psychological climate in the team.
