They tried to transfer drugs in nuts through a parcel to a convict in a colony in Karaganda.

In institution No. 34 of the UIS Department for the Karaganda region and the Ilytau region, the fact of an attempt to transfer narcotic substances through a parcel was recorded. Thus, the convict, who is serving a sentence for theft, received a parcel, as a result of which the employees of the operational department found nuts in the amount of five pieces of suspicious shape and not similar to others. When opening these nuts, brown-green substances were removed. According to the results of the examination, it turned out that these substances are a narcotic drug - hashish with a total weight of 3.472 grams.
A criminal case was initiated. An investigation is underway.
