Lessons from the law: schoolchildren of Aktau visited the pre-trial detention center

As part of educational work and the prevention of offenses, students of schools in the city of Aktau, together with teachers, visited the pre-trial detention center, where they were told about the work of the institution and the conditions of detention of persons in custody.

The event was organized in cooperation with the education department of the region. The excursion began with familiarization with the working hours of institution No. 77, the rules for keeping those under investigation, as well as with explanations about the importance of observing the law and responsibility for offenses committed.

Particular attention was paid to a meeting with employees of the institution, who spoke about their profession, shared their experience in the penal system and answered questions from schoolchildren and their teachers.

The employees also spoke about the possibilities of admission to the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shyrakbek Kabylbaev. Teachers and schoolchildren were explained in detail the conditions of training, the peculiarities of the profession and career prospects in law enforcement agencies.
