The man tried to carry prohibited items to the Mangistau pre-trial detention center

In institution No. 77 of the UIS Department for the Mangistau region, an attempt was recorded to bring prohibited items into the institution. The transfer was intended for one of the persons under investigation.

During the verification of the transfer, which was brought by a friend of the person under investigation, the employees of the institution found and seized a NOTHING smartphone wrapped in a pack of wet wipes, as well as two SIM cards.

The violator was brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with Article 481 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The material on this fact was sent to the specialized interdistrict administrative court of the city of Aktau for further consideration.

The Department of the Penitentiary System of the Mangistau Region continues to ensure the safety of institutions and takes all necessary measures to prevent the transfer of prohibited items to the territory of the remand prison.
