The man tried to transfer drugs to his brother in jail

In institution No. 71 of the UIS Department for the Almaty Region and the Zhetisu Region, employees prevented the entry of prohibited items into the institution.

The brother of the investigator arrested for stealing someone else's property tried to transfer drugs in a clever way. However, thanks to the vigilance of the SIZO employees, drugs were found in a bottle of shampoo.

The man, having previously placed green substances similar to a narcotic drug in syringes, hid them in shampoo. The substances were seized and sent to a forensic chemical examination.

"The fact of the transfer of prohibited substances was registered on the DVR. The transfer of narcotic drugs to penal institutions qualifies as sales, that is, it is one of the criminal offenses that is punishable by imprisonment, "said Bakytzhan Sharipbekov, acting head of the regional DUIS.
