About 4.7 thousand citizens can vote in early elections of Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats in pre-trial detention centers of the Ministry of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with the constitutional law" on elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan", citizens held in pre-trial detention centers whose verdict has not entered into legal force have active suffrage.

For example, 16 pre-trial detention centers in the country are equipped with closed areas that are included in electoral districts at their location.

In addition, during the preparation period for voting, the Tizo administration adequately conducted information work on the importance of active participation in voting in early elections of Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats.

In the premises where the election process takes place, appropriate control is provided, as well as security and the necessary security measures.
