Employees of the DIS of North Kazakhstan region blocked attempts to transfer phones to the institution

During the implementation of operational information in RSU No. 48 in North Kazakhstan region, administrative staff together with military personnel of military unit No. 6637, during the inspection of the cabin of a gazelle truck entering the territory, among the documents, a Samsung phone with a photo-video camera and internet access was found and seized.
In connection with the commission of an administrative offense, materials related to the motorist were collected and sent to the court of Petropavlovsk for bringing to justice.
In accordance with article 481 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (transfer of prohibited substances, products and things to persons held in institutions of the Penal correction system, special institutions), the driver is subject to a warning or a fine in the amount of ten monthly calculation indices, and the above-mentioned phone is seized.
- In accordance with the internal regulations in force in institutions, there is a list and number of items that are allowed to be carried by convicts with them. It is forbidden to store and use money and securities, as well as other things, documents, products, food products, including phones, not provided for by the internal regulations. If such items are found, they will be seized by the administration of the institution, – said the operative of the regime Department Nurbolat Serali.
