Previously, the convicted person served his sentence in the low-security institution No. 26 of the DIS in Zhambyl region since July last year. He was brought to disciplinary responsibility for drug use while serving his sentence.
In January of this year, he was sent to Taraz for consultations with specialists of the diagnostic center of Taraz.
On the same day, the convicted person left the medical facility and evaded serving his sentence.
Employees of the institution immediately began operational search activities, as a result of which they found that the convicted person had left for Almaty, and on January 25, the convicted person was detained in Almaty.
At the same time, during the detention, the convicted person and his relatives showed aggressive resistance to law enforcement officers. This case was recorded on the DVR. During the internal audit, no violations were detected on the part of employees.
Currently, the convicted person is detained in the institution No. 67 (pre-trial detention center of Taraz).
On this fact, the Department of the UIs of Zhambyl region launched an official investigation.
