The Department of the UIs of Mangystau region identified seven facts about the sale of prohibited substances

In 2022, in the institution No. 77 (pre-trial detention center) of the Department of the UIs of the Mangystau region, with the help of an X-ray machine, employees of the checkpoint revealed 7 facts of attempts to smuggle prohibited substances into the institution. As a result, an administrative fine totaling about 175 thousand tenge was imposed.
Employees use an X-ray machine to examine things. This device is necessary when inspecting small objects, the device displays not only dangerous substances that are usually invisible, but also information about the chemical composition of materials by coloring the image in different colors for organic, inorganic and mixed substances. The control of the image formed on the display screen, as well as maintenance, is carried out by specially trained personnel.
