Acting head of the DIS of North Kazakhstan region inspected the institution of DIS No. 48

Acting head of the Department of UIs for North Kazakhstan region, Major General of Justice Berik Bilyalov for the first time held a meeting with employees of institution No. 48 and individual convicts, within which the Minister of internal affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel-General of police Marat Akhmetzhanov, made demands and instructions on the need to increase the material base and improve the conditions of detention of convicts.
During the meeting, Berik Sultangazievich shared information about the possibility of obtaining higher education for convicts through distance learning, opening a deposit in a bank as part of accumulating a down payment for the purchase of Housing, and increasing jobs. Then a personal reception was held with 15 convicts, with whom issues of employment, medical support and transfer to another UIs institution were discussed.
Also, in the Assembly Hall of the headquarters, a meeting was held with the personnel of the institution, the main indicators of the work of employees were considered, and a number of problematic issues requiring elimination within the established time frame were read out.
During the inspection of the institution, a full tour and inspection of the territory, residential and industrial zones was carried out.
At the end of the visit, Berik Bilalov instructed to eliminate the comments made, and also noted the importance of holding personal meetings with both convicts and personnel.
