According to the law" on amnesty", the shieli District Probation Service of the Department of Uis in Kyzylorda region sent a proposal to the Shieli District Court on the application of Amnesty against 3 convicts . They are those who committed criminal offenses during the mass riots.
At the moment, the cases of one convicted person have been considered by the court, and the main sentence has been reduced by three quarters. The resolution has not entered into legal force. And the proposal of the other two convicts is in court proceedings. Earlier, explanatory work was carried out on convicted persons registered with the Probation Service. There were specific explanations that not all participants in the January events will be pardoned," said the head of the District Probation Service, Major of Justice Kairat Baigenzheev.
