Transportation of narcotic substances is blocked in the institution No. 3 of the DIS in Astana

In the course of operational measures, employees of the UIS, together with employees of the Operational Department of institution No. 3, prevented attempts to import drugs into the institution. During the inspection of citizen T., who, as a customer of the institution, came to LLP "plant of road products", located in the industrial zone of the institution, a plastic bag with a specific smell with the content of a gray-green substance of plant origin was found and seized from the shoes.
According to the conclusion of the forensic chemical examination, it was found that this substance is a narcotic substance "hashish" weighing 8.58 grams.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated against the "violator" under Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for which he is subject to a fine in the amount of up to one hundred and sixty monthly calculation indices, or he is warned by correctional labor in the same amount, or involvement in public works for a period of up to one hundred and sixty hours, or arrest for a period of up to forty days.
"Work on preventing the passage of narcotic substances into the territory of institutions will be intensified and continued. Since the beginning of this year, we have prevented the transportation of more than 290 grams of drugs, taking into account that this may lead to other emergency events within the institution, thanks to operational awareness," said Daulet Rakhimbekov, head of the Department of Uis in Astana.
