Reception on personal issues was held in the pre-trial detention center of Astana

The leadership of the DUIS of Astana, together with the chairman of the ONC Marat Satarkulov, as well as senior assistant prosecutor of the city Amre Zhumabai, held a reception of persons held in pre-trial detention centers of the capital on personal issues.
When they first go to prison, it is difficult for many to adapt to the conditions of isolation and restriction. During this period, there is an urgent need for psychological support and legal assistance.
Persons who have arrived in places of deprivation of liberty for the first time are often characterized by emotional and volitional violations, rejection of restrictions and prohibitions. All these factors contribute to the development of conflict situations, which are accompanied by the manifestation of aggressive and auto-aggressive actions within the walls of the detention center.
In order to maintain a stable moral and psychological climate among the special contingent, the leadership of the metropolitan department, as well as representatives of the ONC and the prosecutor's office organized a reception on personal issues.
At the end of the reception, psychologists of the pre-trial detention center, as well as psychologists from the institution No. 3 of the DUIS of Astana, conducted individual interviews.
