Psychology club for convicts opened in Almaty rgn

In Almaty and Zhetysu regions, a "psychology club for convicts" was established under the guidance of psychologists in the institution No. 12 of the DUIs.
The goal of the club is to support, develop the personality of convicts, create a psychological information space that guarantees the reliability and validity of psychological knowledge, their accessibility.
The main focus in the work of the psychological club is on the consolidation of the group and the formation of mutual trust, which creates prerequisites for the successful implementation of further work. Then classes are held aimed at developing skills of understanding and expressing emotions and feelings, methods of dealing with stressful situations. At the same time, psychological games, group discussions, lectures, psychodiagnostic methods, training sessions, and round tables are used.
It should be noted that large-scale events of such educational significance create optimal and effective conditions for the rapid adaptation and correction of society after the release of a special contingent.
